EWEA 2016

Some days ago I’ve had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the EWEA summit, the European Wind Energy Association main event.
It was held in Hamburg, city where I have the pleasure to live since December 2015, and it was simply HUGE.

This year, both onshore and offshore were held together, resulting in an impressive amount of stands.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to meet too many new company specialized in onshore EPC (my main business).

However, I was able to enlarge the list of contact in engineering companies – coming from several years in Madrid I know fairly well who is who in southern Europe, while I still have to familiarize more with northern Europe consultancies (mainly Danish, but also German or French).

All in all, it was a very interesting experience and a great occasion to meet a couple of old friends.

    Dear Francesco.
It was good to hear from you and hear of your visit to the EWEA main event and your continuing interest in Wind Farm Developments. We continue to be extremely interested in offering our services for the supplies of Permanent Liners in Foundation Applications, and we have seen a few new projects which are expected to proceed within Australia shortly.

Roundel have expanded its operations last year into the East Coast at Townsville QLD, and Blayney in NSW which has increased our production of our Corrugated Steel Pipes and Corrugated Structural Products, and with the ability of having several Mobile Spiral Pipe Mills that enables On-Site Production of structures up to 6500-7000mm diameters.

We are obviously very interested in any overseas projects where we could offer our services and if you have any where we may be able to do this, we would be happy to hear from you again.

In the meantime we send our greetings
    with kind regards
